Horizon City Youth Association
Horizon City Youth Association (HCYA) is a non-profit organization serving the kids of Horizon City, Texas. HCYA provides sports activities for all kids where everyone plays, develops skills, is taught good sportsmanship, and learns the value of being a team player.
The HCYA program welcomes all youth regardless of sex, religion, race or color, four (4) through twelve (12) years of age. HCYA's mission is to:
| • | Promote in such children the development of: strong character, a sense of responsibility and citizenship, the ideals of good sportsmanship, participation in physical activities and the development of physical and social skills; and |
| • | Teach such children the concept and importance of team work, the basic fundamentals of baseball and other sports, the principles of community and the molding of responsible future citizens |
| • | The attainment of exceptional athletic skill and the winning of games are secondary |
